I have the pleasure of living in lovely village of Alne, near Easingwold, where this fabulous cafe opened last year, I believe. It really is a wonderful place, where a group of us usually have a weekly meet up there for coffee and cake, but today, 9 of us went there for the most delicious afternoon tea I have ever had.The staff are so welcoming, the food is so delicious and the prices are extremely affordable. It's a little haven in our village and we are very lucky to have it.

What a lovely find. I am fairly local, but this was my first visit. This cute little cafe is situated at the entrance to Home Farm Caravan Park in Alne. Indoor and outdoor seating. I had homemade mushroom soup and fruit cake. Both tasted perfect. Child, dog, and disabled friendly. Nice welcome on arrival. Nothing is too much trouble. It's definitely worth a visit if dining alone or as part of a group.

A unique opportunity to sample the "new community" post lockdowns. Meet the locals, buy the locals products and give yourself a treat! John and Rachel have worked hard to build and develop this facility. Go on!! Go visit, you'll not regret it!

Quiet little coffee shop situated next to the caravan park. It’s clean, spacious and dog friendly. The menu had soup, sandwiches, and toasted panini, alongside a selection of cakes and scones on the counter. The ladies were friendly and we were served quickly. The food was fresh and the teas were nice and strong! They will be changing their opening hours to Thursday to Saturday from this week!

I highly recommend this place, it is simple, classy, perfectly formed - a delight to the eye. More importantly, your taste buds are in for an equal treat. We arrived just as they were closing, aargh we thought ... but, they reopened for us - fantastic! The tea was plentiful and v good, the cakes ... even better. I had a slab of something whose name I can't remember, which resembled millionaire's shortbread but was, instead, peanut based. I wish I had the recipe because it was to die for. Suitably refreshed we cycled back to our campsite, knowing that a future visit to York will have us staying at the associated campsite.

What a lovely cafe! Super location, lovely interior and exterior. The quiche (gruyere & rocket) was homemade and divine and so was the raspberry and cream Victoria sponge, highly recommended, you’ll love it here!

We just happened upon this café on our way to Alne. It's part of a farm and campsite and the building is cosy and welcoming. The two ladies behind the counter were really friendly and the service was great. The coffee was excellent. My husband had a sausage roll with chutney, which was delicious and apparently the sausage to pastry ratio was good. I would definitely recommend stopping by here and we'll have to pop back on a cycle.
